Koinopraxis

La collection « Koinopraxis » est entièrement dédiée au retentissement académique contemporain de la philosophie organique ou processuelle qui fut initiée par Charles S. Peirce (1839–1914), William James (1842–1910), Henri Bergson (1859–1941), John Dewey (1859–1952), Alfred North Whitehead (1861–1947) et prolongée par Émile Meyerson (1859–1933), Louis Couturat (1868–1914), Jean Wahl (1888–1974), Robin George Collingwood (1889–1943), Philippe Devaux (1902–1979), Hans Jonas (1903–1993), Dorothy M. Emmet (1904–2000), Maurice Merleau‑Ponty (1908–1961), Enzo Paci (1911–1976), Charlie Dunbar Broad (1887–1971), Wolfe Mays (1912–2005), Jules Vuillemin (1920–2001), Jean Ladrière (1921–2007), Gilles Deleuze (1925–1995), Wolfhart Pannenberg (1928–) et Reiner Wiehl (1929–2010).

The Centre for Philosophical Practice “Chromatiques whiteheadiennes” seeks to federate research on the meaning and potential applications of Alfred North Whitehead’s (1861–1947) philosophy. Among other scientific ventures, in 2002 the Centre created research seminars in Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne. Since 2011, these seminars are taking place in the Fondation Biermans Lapôtre (Cité universitaire, Paris), in synergy with the Université de Liège’s Department of Philosophy. In 2005, the Centre began publication of the Chromatikon Yearbook, which brings together the most significant seminars, critical studies, and reviews on Whiteheadian issues and related matters. The first series (2005–2009) was published by the Presses universitaires de Louvain. The second series is ublished by the Éditions Chromatika.
