Research

The Centre for Philosophical Practice “Chromatiques whiteheadiennes” (A.S.B.L. — non profit organization), is managed by Michel Weber, Docteur en philosophie, Adjunct Professor at the Department of Educational Foundations of the University of Saskatchewan.

Founded in 2006, the Centre specializes in three complementary axes (research, publication and counselling), each reflecting in its own order the guiding principles of the philosophical act (creativity, efficacy, and vision).

Learned Societies

The specifically scientific activities of the Centre for Philosophical Practice is nurtured by a transdisciplinary synergy between the works of three learned societies created in illo tempore by Michel Weber in collaboration with the major international scholars in the addressed field :

— the Whitehead Psychology Nexus scholarly society was created in October 2000 ;

— the Chromatiques whiteheadiennes scholarly society was created in January 2001 ;

— the European William James Project was created in June 2001.
